HISTORY

Three people came together at a virtual meeting mid-November 2020. The aims of the initial meeting were to discuss the potential impact of an industrial scale wind farm development (Scoop Hill) in the Moffat locality, and to question the level of public consultation which had preceded the Section 36 Application to the Scottish Government. It was quickly agreed that there was a need for a group to take action and, provide an additional information source, with a view to establishing exactly where public opinion in Moffat lies. Additionally, we would envisage information gathering and tapping into whatever expertise is available with regard to ensuring community-based fit for scale projects.

We are now a constituted group with a management committee.
